Employment Type | Full-time, salaried. |
Work Hours | M-F days, weekend on-call rotation with some weekends as needed. |
Experience Requirements | Minimum of three years clinical experience in hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility. Minimum six months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices. |

Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing. Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire. Must possess or obtain within six months of hire, Infection Preventionist Certification to include specialized training in infection prevention and control. Working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious diseases and aseptic technique including universal precautions.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate and direct the infection control program in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern such requirements in the long-term care facility and in compliance with current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations concerning infection control or universal precautions.
