The Maintenance Painter position requires a motivated individual with professional painting experience to perform routine and non-routine manual work, under general supervision, consisting of extensive painting and maintaining all interior finishes such as wallpaper, woodwork, staining, etc. throughout the facility and its properties.

Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of work areas. Must be able to recognize and perform quality craftsmanship. Ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles, as well as be willing to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Perform routine and non-routine manual work, under general supervision, consisting of extensive painting and maintaining all interior finishes such as wallpaper, woodwork, staining, etc. throughout the facility and its properties. Job duties also include regular preventative maintenance and repair procedures. The Maintenance Painter may at times be called upon to assist the maintenance department with other various light maintenance duties including but not limited to routine grounds maintenance, seasonal snow removal/cleanup, other(s) that may become necessary/appropriate to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner with a focus on creating an upscale environment for the customers we serve. This position is reviewed through reports and observations.
