Maintenance - Painter 

Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now interviewing for a full-time painter for our Environmental Services Department.

The Maintenance Painter position requires a motivated individual with professional painting experience to perform routine and non-routine manual work, under general supervision, consisting of extensive painting and maintaining all interior finishes such as wallpaper, woodwork, staining, etc. throughout the facility and its properties.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  • Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of work areas.
  • Baseline computer knowledge and ability.
  • Must be able to recognize and perform quality craftsmanship.
  • Musty have unencumbered New Hampshire Driver’s license to operate company vehicles as indicated.
  • Ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
  • Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles, as well as be willing to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Job duties also include regular preventative maintenance and repair procedures. The Maintenance Painter may at times be called upon to assist the maintenance department with other various light maintenance duties including but not limited to routine grounds maintenance, seasonal snow removal/cleanup, other(s) that may become necessary/appropriate to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner with a focus on creating an upscale environment for the customers we serve. This position is reviewed through reports and observations.
